Welcome to our course which helps you to understand what
Micro-aggressions are and how to deal with them!
In this course we will help you by clarifying and defining
what is meant by the term “Micro-aggressions”.
We will look at the effect of Micro-Aggressions on the target and other people who may witness this behaviour
We provide you with tools and strategies to enable you to challenge Micro-aggressions, in the workplace and elsewhere.
We will help you to reflect upon your own behaviour and if you have been the perpetrator of Micro-aggressions.
You are someone who is enthusiastic about promoting equality, diversity and inclusion and want to create an inclusive environment in your own workplace. You are keen to be an ally, but you’re sometimes concerned that you don’t know what the real issues are, or what specific actions to take. You want to know what to do to make a positive difference straight away.
That’s where this course comes in. It explains what micro-aggressions are and the impact that they have. It’ll give you a clear action plan to make change in small but very significant ways.
You will also find that the course is
supported by worksheets and other
resources, which are available at the
end of each section
My name is Jill Scott and I'm a freelance Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Specialist.
I offer consultancy services but my first love is delivering training. So when I got the opportunity to give up my job and venture out on my own in 2011, I jumped at the chance.
I love sharing what I’ve learned over the past 20 years in the diversity and inclusion field. It gives me a huge buzz seeing people blossom and grow as they begin understand how to think about issues differently and doing their bit to make the world a fairer, more inclusive place. I know that’s what you want – and I’m here to support you.
